* Two editions of Power Tools are now built from the same code. A free edition is published on WordPress.org, and the full version - this one - is downloaded after you register on our website.
* You no longer need a licence key for the FAQ Builder or the Plugin Version Reporter. Both are now part of the full version and work as soon as you install it. If you were waiting on a key to use them, they are simply available now.
* A licence still unlocks Website Lockdown and Login Protection, the Shortcode Usage Reporter, the WooCommerce tools, and the Power Control Panel with its security audits and reports.
* Installing the full version over the free edition switches the free one off automatically, so the two can never run at once, and all your settings are kept.
* Removed an unused admin page that would have thrown an error if it had ever been opened.

* Licence checks are now more reliable, and far more forgiving of connection problems. Your site keeps everything switched on for 21 days if it can't reach the Intellecta portal, so an outage at our end, or a firewall at yours, never turns your features off. Only an expired, cancelled or withdrawn licence takes effect straight away.
* Your site now re-checks its licence by itself even if scheduled tasks are disabled on your server.
* The Licensing page now shows when your licence was last verified, and warns you if it hasn't been checked for a while - so you can sort out a connection problem long before anything stops working.
* Existing licensed sites carry across automatically when you update. There's no need to re-activate.
* Login Protection, including Website Lockdown, now requires an activated licence.
* If your licence lapses while a Website Lockdown is switched on, the lockdown stays on. A lapsed licence will never quietly make a private website public again, or hand it back to search engines. You can always switch a lockdown off, licence or not.

* Login Protection: new Website Lockdown, for closing your whole website off from search engines and/or the public.
* Block robots and indexing engines from crawling your website. Your existing robots.txt is saved and swapped for one that turns every crawler away, and your pages ask search engines not to index them. Untick the box and your original robots.txt comes back exactly as it was - it's also restored automatically if you deactivate or delete the plugin.
* Lock your website behind a password. Visitors get a simple, tidy password prompt instead of your site, while anyone logged in to WordPress browses as normal. Choose your own password (it doesn't need to be complicated), add your own message to the prompt, and reveal or clear the saved password whenever you like. Repeated wrong guesses are slowed down automatically, and changing the password signs out everyone using the old one.
* With both switches on, your site is in full lockdown - and it's impossible to miss. The Login Protection card on your dashboard turns red and reads "Website Locked Down", and a red Locked Down badge appears in the WordPress toolbar that takes you straight to the settings to undo it.

* Bulk Product Editor: new product status filter in the toolbar. Tick Active and/or Draft to choose which products are listed. Active is on by default, and your choice is remembered between visits.
* Bulk Product Editor: your product custom fields can now be shown as editable columns. Any custom field on your products is available to switch on, and is marked with a "Custom field" badge.
* Bulk Product Editor: columns can now be reordered. Drag any column into any position and your layout is saved automatically.

* FAQ Builder: new External Review. Generate a private, no-login link you can share with an outside editor so they can review and correct every FAQ question and answer. Their edits save as they go, with a green confirmation. Each link stays open only for the number of days you set (three by default) and expires by itself.
* FAQ Builder: new Revisions. Full snapshots of your questions and answers are kept automatically whenever a review link is created and before any restore. Roll back to any revision, take a backup whenever you like, and choose how many to keep.
* FAQ Builder: the external review page now shows only bundles that have questions, displays your site's logo, and lets a reviewer add a question back to a bundle they've emptied.

* The settings form no longer refuses to save because of a value on a tab you can't see, and out-of-range values correct themselves.

* New add-on - FAQ Builder. Create reusable FAQ bundles and place them on any page or product, with built-in SEO schema:
* Add a bundle with the [power_faq] shortcode, a Gutenberg block, or an Elementor widget.
* Build bundles in a simple editor - type each question, write the answer (HTML allowed), and drag to reorder. Enable, disable or delete bundles from a grouped list.
* One-click "Synchronise" creates a ready-to-fill FAQ bundle for every published page and/or product automatically.
* Display options: accordion or fully-open layout, one-at-a-time accordion, an optional "Expand all" button, an optional heading above each FAQ, and your own CSS classes.
* Adds Google-friendly FAQ schema automatically, and stays out of the way when Yoast, Rank Math or All in One SEO are already handling it.
* Optional auto-append so a bundle appears on its matched page or product with no shortcode needed.
* Back up or move your FAQs with import and export.
* Force Reinstall. The Licensing page now has a Force Reinstall button that re-downloads and overwrites the current version even when there's no newer one - handy for repairing modified or hacked plugin files. It does not touch your settings or data.

Intellecta Power Tools was prepared for public release on WordPress.org, with a full security, privacy and translation review - alongside a new security add-on and a major Login & Admin Designer overhaul.
Prepared for public release
* Security hardening across every add-on. One reporting screen could previously be opened without being logged in - that is now closed.
* The plugin no longer loads anything from outside your website. Fonts, charts and tooltip libraries are all included, so nothing about your site is requested from third-party servers.
* The plugin is now fully translatable.
* Added a licence file, a plain-English disclosure of exactly what is sent to the Intellecta portal and when, and a complete uninstall that removes everything the plugin created.
New: Login Protection
* Brute-force protection for your WordPress login. Locks out an IP address after a set number of failed attempts for as long as you choose, with an allow-list for your own addresses, a recent-activity log, and automatic clean-up of old log entries.
Login & Admin Designer - major overhaul
* Rebuilt the settings screen with a live preview of both your login page and your admin menu, plus tabbed settings.
* Added colour controls for the login input fields, light and dark logo previews so you can check a transparent logo against both, and the top admin bar now follows your menu colours.
* Your chosen theme now reliably overrides the WordPress admin colour scheme - no more stray blue on submenus, the current item, or on hover.
* Fixed the settings page where the media uploader and theme buttons had stopped working.
WooCommerce Rate Limiter
* The Rate Limiter is now visible even when WooCommerce isn't installed, so you can see what it offers, with a clear note that WooCommerce is required. Checkout protection still only runs when WooCommerce is active.
* Rate Limiter logs are now cleaned up automatically, so the log no longer grows without limit.
